  • 12 x Raspberry Pink Paintbox Simply Chunky
  • Hook: 6.5 mm
  • Other items: scissors, darning needle, stitch markers (optional)
Gauge: 4 repeats x 8 rows = 4ins


Pattern for gauge =
  1. Row 1 – [fptr in the next st, (dc in the next 2 sts, fptr)]
  2. Row 2 – [bptr, (dc in the next 2 sts,bptr)]
Size: 48in x 48in – small throw

Notes:
  • This piece is worked from the bottom up
  • Ch3 counts as a dc
  • Ch1 does not count as a sc
  • Pattern included is for a small sized throw.
Stitches:
  • Single Crochet – sc
  • Double Crochet – dc
  • Front Post Treble Crochet – fptr
  • Back Post Treble Crochet – bptr

Start:

Ch126

Row 1:

Sc in the second ch from the hook (sk ch does not count as a st here and throughout), sc in each st across. Turn (125)

Row 2:

Ch3 (counts as a dc here and throughout), dc in each st across. Turn (125)

Row 3:

Ch3, dc in the next st, [fptr in the next st, dc in the next 2 sts], repeat across to the end. Turn 

Row 4:

Ch3, dc in the next 2 sts, [bptr, dc in the next 2 sts], repeat until 2 sts remain, dc in the next 2 sts. Turn

Row 5:

Ch3 (counts as a dc here and throughout), dc in the next st, [fptr in the next st, dc in the next 2 sts], repeat across to the end. Turn

Rows 6 – end:

Repeat rows 4 & 5 until work measures 48ins

Final Row :

Ch1, sc in the same st, sc in each st across. Tie off and secure your ends.
