How to Crochet a Beautiful Dress

2 Skeins of Caron Simply Soft
Hook: I/9-5.50MM
Scissors
Abbreviations:
SC - single crochet
CH - chain
DC - double crochet
Instructions: Working in Rounds
For the top section of the dress going into the mid and skirt of the dress.
Row Instructions:
Row 1: CH 108
SS to the end of the chain.
Row 2: SC the entire row of 108
Row 3: CH 2, skip 2 DC in the 3rd space, CH 2, skip 2 spaces, and DC in the 3rd space (repeat until the end of the row)
Continue Row 3 to Row 12. (SEE PHOTO BELOW)
Mid Section of Dress:
Row 13: SC the entire row (SEE PHOTO BELOW)
Row 14: SC in first ST and 2 SC in the next (repeat until end of row)
Row 15: CH 2, skip 2 DC in the 3rd space, CH 2, skip 2 spaces, and DC in the 3rd space (repeat until end of row)
Row 16: SC (repeat until the end of row)
[BOTTOM OF THE DRESS]
Row 17: CH 2, skip 2 DC in the 3rd space, CH 2, skip 2 spaces, and DC in the 3rd space (repeat until end of row)
Continue Row 17 to Row 45 (SEE PHOTO BELOW)
Row 46: For the bottom of the dress, SC 4 times in the chain spaces. (SEE PHOTO BELOW)
For the Straps:
Connect the yarn into the top of the dress (front) into 3 spaces.
Row 1: SC in each space
Row 2-23: DC in each space
Connect to the back of the dress.
SC the sides of the straps for a finished look! (SEE PHOTO BELOW)
For the Belt:
You want it to be a bit longer so that you can tie it around your waist to achieve the cinch look.
