2 skeins Red Heart yarn #4 worsted weight yarn 400 yards (365.76 m)

The Cap of the hat is stretchy. It will fit a 21-22 inch head.

Crochet Sun Hat Written Pattern

Ch 4, sl st to 1st st to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc throughout), dc, ch 1, 5 clusters into ring, sl st to join top of ch-3 st. (6 Clusters) Remember 2dc, ch 1= one cluster

Round 2: Sl st next dc & ch-1 sp, (ch 3, dc, ch1, cluster) in ch-1 sp, 2 clusters in each ch-1 sp around, sl st to join top of ch-3 st. (12 clusters)

Round 3: Sl st next dc & ch-1 sp, (ch 3, dc, ch 1) in ch-1 sp, 2 cluster next ch-1 sp. *Cluster next ch-1 sp, 2 clusters next ch-1 sp.* Repeat *to* around, sl st to join top of ch-3 st. (18 Clusters)

Round 4: Sl st next dc & ch-1 sp, (ch 3, dc, ch 1) in ch-1 sp, cluster next ch-1 sp, 2 cluster in the next ch-1 sp. * Cluster in the next 2 ch-1 sps, 2 clusters next ch-1 sp.* Repeat *to* around, sl st to join top of ch-3 st. (24 Clusters)
