Stitch Markers

Gauge: 11 sts x 14 rows = 4 in/ 10 cm in main st pattern

Size: approx 13" wide laid flat, 26" around, 13" tall

NOTES:

If you prefer to avoid the FSC stitch, you can begin the pattern as follows: Ch 74, sl st to first ch to create ring, ch 1, sc in each ch around; join with sl st. Then continue with Rnd 2 as written.

Feel free to mix up the color stripe order as you go, creating your own personal work of art!

Unused yarns were carried along the inside, so that at the end there were only 6 ends to weave in.

Mimosa Crochet Cowl Instructions:

Rnd 1: With Color A, leaving a 6" tail, FSC 74; join to first st with a sl st to form ring. Use the tail to close the bottom of the rnd when weaving it in. (74 sts)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in the first st, blo sc in the next st, *sc in the next st, blo sc in the next st; rep from * around, join.

MAIN ST PATTERN ROW:

Rnd 3: Ch 1, csc in the first st, blo sc in the next st, *csc in the next st, blo sc in the next st; rep from * around, join.

COLOR STRIPE PATTERN:

Rnds 4 - 7: Continuing with Color A, rep Rnd 3. Finish sl st of last rnd with Color B.

Rnds 8 - 13: Continuing with Color B, rep Rnd 3. Finish sl st of last rnd with Color C.

Rnds 14 - 19: Continuing with Color C, rep Rnd 3. Finish sl st of last rnd with Color A.

Rnds 20 - 22: Continuing with Color A, rep Rnd 3. Finish sl st of last rnd with Color C.

Rnds 23 - 24: Continuing with Color C, rep Rnd 3. Finish sl st of last rnd with Color B.
