Materials

  • 4mm crochet hook.
  • 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in pink.
  • 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in red.
  • Darning needle.
  • Stitch marker.

Crochet heart bookmark Pattern: Red Hearts

Red Hearts – Make 3

Red wool, 4.5 mm hook

Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.

Row 1: sc, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, ss, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, sc, 2sc into next sc (13sc).

Row 2: 3sc, (htr/hdc, 2tr/dc,htr/hdc) into next sc, sc, ss, sc, (htr/hdc, 2tr/dc, htr/hdc) into next sc, 4sc, 2sc into next sc (20sc).

Fasten off.

Pink Hearts – Make 2

Pink wool, 4.5 mm hook

Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.

Row 1: sc, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, ss, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, sc, 2sc into next sc (13sc).

Fasten off.

Sew the hearts together alternating between the red and pink hearts.
