Enhance Your Home with a Charming Crochet Wall Door Stop – A DIY Guide

A Crochet Wall Door Stop is a charming and practical addition to any home decor. This creative DIY project not only keeps your doors from swinging shut but also adds a touch of warmth and personality to your living space. You can choose yarn in your favorite colors or opt for a neutral shade to blend seamlessly with your walls.

The best part is that you can customize the size and design to fit your door perfectly. Whether you're a crochet enthusiast looking for a fun weekend project or a home decor enthusiast wanting to add a homemade touch to your space, a Crochet Wall Door Stop is a delightful and functional accessory that will instantly elevate the style of your home!

Supplies

  • Two colors of yarn (for this pattern I used a very thin yarn, I’m not positive of the type since it was a garage sale find, but I’m guessing lace or fingering weight yarn)
  • Hook (I used a D hook)
  • Yarn needle
  • Stuffing

Front

Pattern starts with the rubber middle piece, so use that color first.

  1. R1: magic circle 6sc – 6sc
  2. R2: 2sc in each st* repeat – 12sc
  3. R3: 1 sc, 2 sc* repeat – 18sc
  4. R4-8: sc in each st – 18sc

Switch to the second color.

  1. R9: 2 1sc, 2sc in st* repeat – 24sc
  2. R10: 3 1sc, 2sc in st* repeat – 30sc
  3. R11: 4 1sc, 2sc in st* repeat – 36sc
  4. R12: 5 1sc, 2sc in st* repeat – 42sc
  5. R13: 6 1sc, 2sc in st* repeat – 48sc

Tie off. Push the first part into itself to look sort of like a belly button.

Bottom

  1. R1: magic circle 6sc – 6sc
  2. R2: 2sc in each st* repeat – 12sc
  3. R3: 1sc, 2sc in st* repeat – 18sc
