Crochet Angel Ornament

Materials:

White worsted wt. yarn

Size G and I hooks

Ribbon for bow

Ribbon Rose

Chained beads for halo and decoration

Tacky glue

Starting at head:

With "G" hook

Rnd 1: Ch 2, 8 sc in first ch, do not join but mark beg of each rnd.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in ea sc (16 sc)

Rnds 3 - 7: Sc in each sc (16 sc)

Rnd 8: Dec over next 2 sc around till 8 sc remain. Sl st in next st.

Switch of "I" hook.

Rnd 9: Ch 3, dc in same place, ch 2, 2 dc in same place, 1 dc in next sc, (2 dc in next sc, ch 2, 2 dc in same place, 1 dc in next sc) 3 times. Join.

Rnd 10: Sl st to ch 2 space, (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same space; 1 dc in next 5 dc; (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in ch 2 space, 1 dc in next 5 dc) 3 times. Join

Rnd 11: Sl st to ch 2 space, (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same space; 1 dc in next 9 dc, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch 2 space, 1 dc in next 9 dc) times. Join

Rnd 12: Sl st to ch 2 space, (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in ch 2) in same space; 1 dc in next 6 dc, skip next 7 dc, the next ch 2 space and next 7 dc; dc in next 6 dc, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space; 1 dc in next 6 dc, skip next 7 dc, the next ch 2 space and the next 7 dc; 1 dc in remaining 6 dc. Join

Rnd 13: Sl st to next ch 2 space, (ch 3, 1 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same place; 1 dc in next 7 dc, dec over next 2 dc, 1 dc in next 7 dc; (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space; 1 dc in next 7 dc, dec over next 2 dc, dc in 7 dc. Join

Rnd 14: Sl st to ch 2 space, (ch 3, 1 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same space; 1 dc in next 9 dc, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next 9dc; (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 2 space; 1 dc in next 9 dc, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in rem 9 dc. Join

Rnd 15: Sl st to ch 2 space, (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2dc) in same space; 1 dc in each dc to ch 2 space, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch 2 space, 1 dc in rem dc. Join. Finish off

Decorate as shown using glue to attach ribbon, beads and rose.

Stuff head lightly if you wish.
