Materials: Small amounts of cotton worsted weight yarn

Size G hook

Wiggly eye

Ch 10 loosely. Join to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in same place and each st around. Join to first sc. (10 sc)

Work in rows now.

To form mouth

Row 1: Press ring together, ch 1, sc in first sc and through sc behind it, 2 sc in next 4 sc being sure to go through the sc behind it. Ch 1, turn. (10 sc)

Body

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, 1 sc in remaining sc to the last sc, 2 sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn. (12 sc)

Rows 3 and 4: Repeat row 2 ending with 16 sc. Ch 1 and turn

Rows 5,6,7,8: Ch 1, sc in ea sc, ch 1, turn (16 sc)

Row 9: Dec over first 2 sc and last 2 sc. ch 1, turn (14 sc)

Row 10: Sc in each sc (14 sc)

Rows 11 through 18): Repeat rows 9 and 10 until 6 sc remain. Ch 1 turn.

Rows 19 and 20: Sc in each sc, ch 1 turn (6 sc)

Tail

Row 21: Ch 3, dc in same place, 2 dc in next sc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 3, sl st in same st as last dc, sl st in next sc, ch 3, dc in same sc, 2 dc in next 2 sc, finish off.

Fin

At end of 6th row attach yarn, ch 1, sc in same place, 1 hdc at end next row, 2 dc at end of next 2 rows, trc in end of next 2 rows. Finish off.

To block spray lightly on both sides with spray starch . When dry, glue on eye.
