Yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
ROW 1: Ch110. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn.

ROW 2: Sk very first sc. Dc in each sc across. Ch1, turn.

ROW 3: Sc in each dc across and in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 4: Rep ROW 2.
ROW 5: Rep ROW 3.
ROW 6: Rep ROW 2.
ROW 7: Rep ROW 3.

ROW 8: Sc in each of the first 18 sc. Ch14. Sk 14 sc. Sc in each of the last 77 sc. Ch3, turn.

ROW 9: Sk very first sc. Dc in each of the next 76 sc. Dc in each of the next 14 chs. Dc in each of the last 18 sc. Ch1, turn.

ROW 10: Rep ROW 3.
ROW 11: Rep ROW 2.
ROW 12: Rep ROW 3.
ROW 13: Sc in each sc across. Ch1. Do not turn.

Perimeter Now you will work around the perimeter of the scarf.

  • Work on the left side of the rows. Sc in first sc row. (5dc in next dc row. Sc in next sc row. 5dc in next dc row. Sc in next sc row. 5dc in next dc row.) Sc in sp between next 2 sc rows. Rep bet () once. Sc in next corner sc row.
  • Now you are going to work across the bottom of ROW 1. ((Sk 2 sc. 5dc in next sc. Sk 2 sc. Sc in next sc.)) Rep bet (()) 16 times more. Sk next 2 sc. 5dc in next sc. Sk next 2 sc. Sc in next corner st.
  • Now you will work up the other end of the rows. Rep bet () once. Sc in sp bet next 2 sc rows. Rep bet () once more. Sc in next corner st.
  • Now you will work across the top in ROW 13. Rep bet (()) 17 times. Sk next 2 sc. 5dc in next sc. Sk 2 sc. Join w/slst to first sc of perimeter.
