Materials:
H hook
Worsted Weight Yarn
Ch 6 and sl st in 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Do a beginning dc cluster in ring, ch 2, *do a dc cluster in ring, ch 2, repeat from * around for 6 more times. Join with a sl st in top of ch 3.
Rnd 2: Sl st into next ch 2 space, do beg dc cluster in ch 2 space, ch 2, *in next ch 2 space, do a dc cluster, ch 2, repeat form * around joining with a sl st in top of ch 3.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, *1 sc in 2nd dc, ch 2, tc cluster in next ch 2 space, ch 2, repeat from * around(7 more times), sl st in top of ch 1.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, *3 sc in st at top of cluster in last rnd, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next sc, 3 sc in top of next cluster, ch 1, 1 sc in next sc, ch 1, repeat from * 3 more times, sl st in top of ch 1.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, 1 sc in each st or ch around while also doing 3 sc in each ch 2 space at corners, sl st in top of ch 1.
Rnd 6: Variation:
6" square - ch 1, sc in each sc around while also doing 3 sc in 2nd sc of 3 sc corner, sl st in 1st sc and fasten off. Weave in ends.
7" square - ch 3, dc in each sc around while also doing dc in 2nd sc of 3 sc corner, sl st in 1st dc and fasten off. Weave in ends.
beg dc cluster: ch 3, (yo, insert hook in ring, draw up a loop, yo, draw up through 2 loops) twice, yo , draw through remaining 3 loops.
dc cluster: (yo, insert hook in st, draw up a loop, yo, draw through 2 loops) 3 times, yo, draw through remaining 4 loops.
tc cluster: (yo twice, insert hook in st, draw up a loop, yo, draw through 2 loops, yo, draw through 2 loops) 3 times, yo draw through remaining 4 loops.
