Crochet Snowflake Coaster

Materials:

7 hook
1 ball size 10 thread

Note: Double Treble Stitch (DT)~~~Working in front row just make, yo 3 x, inset hook and draw a loop, (five loops on hook) , yo, and draw thread through two loops on hook, 3x. One loop remains.

ch 6, join with slip stitch to form ring.

Rd 1: ch 3, 13 dc in ring, join with slip stitch.

Rd 2: ch 3, 2 dc in next in same place, * ch 2, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next
dc, repeat from * around. End with ch 2, join with slip stitch to top
of beg ch 3.

Rd 3: ch 3, 1 dc in same place, ch 3, sk next 1 dc, 2 dc in next dc, * ch 1,
2 dc in next dc, ch 3, skip 1 dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * around,
end with ch 1, join with slip stitch to top of beg ch 3.

Rd 4: ch 3, * 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc in next ch 3 sp, ch 3, skip 2 dc, 1 sc in next
sp, ch 3, skip 2 dc, repeat from * around, end ch 3, join with slip
stitch to base of beg ch 3.

Rd 5: Keeping last loop on hook, ch 4, 2 DT in same place, yo, pull
through all loops, *ch 5, in next ch 3 sp, work 3 DT, ch 3, 3 DT,
(DT shell made) ch 5, in sc of row 4 and holding last loop on hook,
work 3 DT, yo, draw through all loops, (3 DT cluster made ) repeat
from * around, work last shell, ch 5, join with slip stitch to top of beg
ch 4.

Rd 6: ch 7, 1 DT in same place, *ch 5, shell over shell, ch 5, skip 5 ch, in
top of 3 CT cluster stitch, work 1 DT, ch 3,1 DT, ( V stitch made),
repeat from * around, end ch 5, slip stitch to 4th chain of beg ch 7.

Rd 7: slip stitch to 3 ch sp of V stitch, ch 3, 2 dc in 3 ch sp, * ch 5, shell
over shell, ch 5, in next ch 3 sp, work 3 dc. repeat from * around,
end ch 5, slip stitch to top of beg ch 3.

Rd 8: ch 3, 1 dc in next dc, * (ch 6, sc in 3 ch from hook) 3x, ch 3, 2 dc in
next dc, ch 5, in center of next shell work 3 DT, (ch 6, sc in 3 ch from
hook) 3x, ch 3, 3 DT, ch 5, work 1 dc in next 2 dc ( of 3 dc group),
repeat from * around, end ch 5, slip stitch to top of beg ch 3.

Fasten off, block as shown in picture.

The first snowflake pattern that uses number 10 thread won't let me print. It won't show the chain and first row
