Materials: W. Wt. Cotton in small amount of two colors; Size H hook

Finished size: Approx. 4” Square

Row 1: Chain 14, turn, 1 hdc in 3rd ch from the hook and in each ch across.

Ch 2, turn.

Row 2: Working in Back Loops Only (BLOs), hdc in each hdc across, ch 2, turn.

Rows 3-7: Repeat Row 2. At end of Row 7, do not ch 2 or turn. Finish off.

Rnd 1: Join with a sl st a contrasting color (CC) in any corner space. Ch 1, 3 sc in the same sc

first corner], (Sc evenly across to the next corner, making 3 sc in each corner) around.

Join with a sl st to the first sc.

Rnd 2: Sl st into the next sc (center), ch 2, 2 hdc in the same sc [first corner], (Hdc in sc

across, making 3 hdc in each corner) around. Join with a sl st to the first hdc.

Finish off and weave in ends.
