Crochet Hot Pad

Materials Needed: I used 3 balls of the same color of worsted weight cotton yarn, P hook
Directions:Hot pad is worked holding all 3 strands of yarn togetherch 5 join with a sl st to form a ring

Round 1 - ch 3, work 9 dc into ring just formed, join with a sl st to the top of ch 3

Round 2 - ch 3, 2 dc in same st, ch 2, 2 dc in next st, ch 2, *3 dc in next st, ch 2, 2 dc in next st, ch 2 * repeat from *to* 4 more times, join with a sl st to the top of ch 3

Round 3 - ch 3, dc in next 2 sts, *dc in next ch 2 sp on previous round, dc in next 2 sts, work 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 2 sp on previous round, dc in next 3 sts* repeat for *to* ending with 2dc, ch 1, 2dc in last ch 2 sp join with a sl st to the top of ch 3 fasten off.
