Materials:

- 4 oz. 4-ply worsted weight acrylic (I used RHSS melonberry)
- 4 oz. 3-ply sport weight acrylic (I used Lion Brand Baby Soft bubble gum)
- L hook
- purse handles
- 4" x 52" nylon scarf (I bought this one from the thrift store for 90 cents)

Size: really doesn't matter :) (approximately 12" across flattened out)

Notes:
- do not join rnds unless otherwise stated, mark 1st st with a stitch marker
- I crochet tight, so you may want to adjust the size of your crochet hook

Directions:

Rnd 1: Working with 1 strand worsted weight and 2 strands sport weight held together, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.

Rnd 3: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around.

Rnd 4: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) around.

Rnd 5: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc) around.

Rnd 6: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) around.

Rnd 7: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc) around.

Rnd 8: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc) around.

Rnd 9: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc) around.

Rnd 10: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 8 sc) around.

Rnd 11: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc) around.

Rnd 12: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 10 sc) around.

Rnd 13: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 11 sc) around.

Rnds 14 - 28: Sc in each sc around.

Rnd 29: Ch 4 (counts as 1st dc and ch 1), skip next sc. *dc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc. Repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beginning ch 4.

Rnd 30: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each dc and ch-1 space around. Join with a sl st to 1st sc.

Rnd 31: Ch 1, sc 1st and 2nd sc together. Sc in next 37 sc, sc next 2 sc together, sc in next 37 sc. Join with a sl st to 1st sc.

Rnd 32: Ch 1, sc 1st and 2nd sc together. Sc in next 36 sc, sc next 2 sc together, sc in next 36 sc. Join as before.

Rnd 33: Ch 1, reverse sc in each sc around. Join with a sl st to 1st reverse sc. End off.

Sew on handles.

Weave nylon scarf through Rnd 29.
