Hello everyone! I'm a newbie here. I've just started to learn knitting, but I like to make things from foamiran.
I want to show you, how you can make a very nice peony.
You'll need: light-pink, dark-pink and green colours of foamiran; scissors, tape, yellow, green and pink acrylic paints, thick and thin floristic wire, glue gun, thread, brushes, foam sponge and silver paper.
Prepare foamiran and cut the semis due to the pattern: A - 10 light-pink petals, B - 10 light-pink and 5 dark-pink petals; C - 10 light-pink petals; D - 5 dark-pink petals; E - 5 dark-pink petals; F - 3 green leaves; M - 6 green leaves; K and L - 5 green sepals for each; G - 1 light-pink semi in the form of sun.
Colour the petals with pink painting.
Draw the structure of leaves, using green paint.
In order to make the petals look like real, take semis A, B, C.
Fold the petal pleated, round it up and unroll. Make this process with all the petals A, B, C.
Take the petals D and E, then give each of them a concave shape. To do this, place the thumb in the center of the petal and stretch the foamiran along the edges.
Fold the sheet in half, then pleated and unfold. The edges can be tightened. Give a realistic look to each leaf in the same way.
Roll a circle of silver paper with a diameter of 1.5 - 2 cm.
Make a small hole in the balls, fill with hot glue and insert the thick wire as a stem.
Put G semi in the shape of a sun on the stem and tie the rays with a thread.
Paint the tips of the rays yellow to get stamens.
Glue 10 petals of A. with a glue gun. It is worth noting that you need to glue the petals in a circle, placing them in a checkerboard pattern.
Glue petals B, then C, D, E.
Glue the sepals L and K.
Glue the thin wire to all the leaves.
Connect the leaves together and fasten the tape by making twigs.
Glue the branches to the stem.
